The issue with using a normal prime lens with extension tubes is a that you lack the macro sharpness, as a macro lens focusing in this certain magnification will get you a nice sharp clean image. But here its sorta "unsharp"..just to tell you that otherwise the composition and the magnification is perfect! was this natural?

Yes, all natural! I was using my prime lens full open at f1.4, so unfortunately the depth of field was pretty small. It was also hand-held. But it turned out to be the best picture from this series.
