Thanks! Yes, I was using a manual focus prime lens with an additional extension tube. The lens itself can only focus down to 45cm, but with the extension tube attached, the minimum focus distance gets smaller, so I can place objects almost right in front of the lens. This one was about 10 cm away. It's a nice technique for macro photography (I don't own a macro lens), because those extension tubes are quite cheap, the image quality stays the same and you end up with beautiful blurred backgrounds.
